Parliamentary Debate About Larp and Board Games Tomorrow
Tomorrow, there is going to be a parliamentary debate about whether larp and board games are culture or not. Obviously they are. Nevertheless it is going to be interesting to listen in (I will attend it), and also to take part of the democratic system, albeit passively.
I suspect that it is all about VAT, and that role-playing games are not discussed because they are mostly sold in the form of books, which already have reduced VAT. I am not really interested in VAT at all (since I am in the business of making my own games), but I would really like for larp and board games, activities that (tens of) thousands of swedes are actively pursuing, to be considered part of Swedish culture.
