It is official
Although I am not really a theatre guy (let alone an actor) I will be playing the role of Old Man Marsh in Theatre Tentacle’s rendition of “A Shoggoth on the Roof” in November this year. This means I will be singing “If I was a Deep One”. Apparently, this is the world premier of the musical as all previous attempts have failed…
As some might have guessed, the play is a H.P. Lovecraftian parody. I’m not a big fan of Lovecraft, but the play is really funny and pokes great fun at a lot of classic characters from various novels, some of which I have read and some of which I haven’t. The play is part of Miskatonicon, a convention about Lovecraftian stuff.
I pined over the decision — as I am hoping to finish my thesis around then, but I just had to do this. I hope the price won’t be too high.
